Q. Where is your favourite holiday destination?
A. South of W.A in Busselton.
Q. What are your favourite sports to play?
A. Golf. I love it but never get to play very often.
Q. Who were your music influences as you grew up?
A. John Denver, Eagles, Don Henley and of course my Dad.
Q. How do you come up with the ideas for the songs you write?
A. Sitting driving either a car, tractor or something for a long period when you have time to think.
Q. Where are your favourite places you like to be?
A. On a tractor ploughing after the first rain of the season, or on a header at the start of
harvest and on stage performing in front of a crowd, the bigger the better! And fishing off
the jetty in Busselton.
Q. Where did you grow up?
A. On a farm near the tiny wheatbelt town in W.A called Koorda.
Q. As a five year old what did you want to grow up to be?
A. A farmer just like my Dad.
Q. When did you first get into music?
A. When I was about 7 and we were being taught the piano by Dad.
Q. What are a couple of your favourite songs of all time?
A. My Sweet Lord by George Harrison, Rocky Mountain High by John Denver, New Kid In Town and Hotel California by The Eagles.
Q. What are your biggest achievements in life so far?
A. Getting the wife out to work!! Having 3 great kids. Taking the biggest gamble of my life and
following my dream doing this album.
Q. What is the one thing in life that really annoys you?
A. Schools.
Q. Is there anything you wish you were better at?
A. Playing the guitar and saying no to bad food.
Q. Who is your favourite Australian country artist at the moment?
A. Keith Urban & Adam Brand.
Q. What interests apart from music do you have?
A. Farming, fishing, farm machinery, V8 Supercar racing, Fords, cars, tools and the good old aussie BBQ.
Q. What are a few of your favourite childhood memories?
A. Going fishing in Dads little boat in Busselton when I was about 7. Also sitting on the tractor during
seeding going round and round with Dad. Weekends spent on the farm in the 70’s.
Q. What do you hope to achieve with your new album “Window Down”?
A. To get myself established as a country artist and to gather some momentum in the industry.
