Born and raised on the land in the tiny West Australian wheat belt town of Koorda, ALEX WATT has always had his heart and soul in the soil, and it is strongly
reflected in his music. Combined with a move east last year, Alex has
steadily built his career with a win in the 2004 Victorian Champion of
Champions and a finalist berth in Toyota Star Maker in 2005.
Alex is now settled in Tamworth, and his new album Window Down was
produced by Roger Corbett who also had a hand in co-writing 6 of the 7
original tracks on the album. It’s an excellent showcase of the talents of
this new arrival, with his country heritage showing through strongly in the
songs.
The first single and title track with its infectious radio feel is a great
introduction, taking Alex back to his country roots in the west.
